Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza to start in their first teleserye!

AFTER the huge success of their first solo movie “Imagine You and Me,” the phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza has another surprise for their fans: this time, the much-awaited teleserye.

This was confirmed by Alden himself, who hosted a thanksgiving party with the press yesterday.

GMA News Breaking posted yesterday afternoon that the Pambansang Bae has confirmed that “a soap opera with Maine is already on the works.”

This is a dream come true for their fans since they have been clamoring for the loveteam to star in a TV series. The good news immediately made the rounds online, with fans showing their excitement on Twitter.

“This is the biggest news of the year,” tweeted an AlDub fan account, @DON_REALTALK. “Thank God for this great news! It’s confirmed, finally, a TS (teleserye) for A&M (Alden and Maine). We’ve been waiting for this.

At the thanksgiving party, Alden expressed his gratitude to the press, especially those who never left him.

“Sobrang thankful po ako, kasi never kong na experience na pinabayaan ako ng press so ito pong small gathering na ito is a small way of thanking you,” he said.

Aside from the teleserye plan for the two mainstays of the country’s longest running noontime show of “Eat Bulaga!,” Alden also shared that he is planning to build a foundation for orphans and the elderly.
